Welcome to the AzVTA
Certified Veterinary Technicians are in high demand in Arizona! The shortage of CVT's only worsens year after year. Staff shortages bring strain to existing teams and we all feel the pinch of understaffing.

The AzVTA wants to see recognition of the title of 'veterinary technician' so we may see more value in our skills via higher wages, proper utilization of our skills, and better working conditions. This brand new Association is meant to organize our efforts and create strength in numbers when the state is ready for legislative change. Please join us in solidarity for credentialed technicians and the enrichment of our role as advocates for Arizona pets!
We have so many big plan for membership benefits! We will notify our members as these are put into place. Our committees are hard at work seeking out product and service discounts, quality in-person and virtual CE, wellness resources, career opportunities, mentorship and much more!
